In 2016, Scott Gillespie, of Deep River South Development, LLC was able to secure a purchase agreement for a 49.5 acre property at the corner of Clark Road and Seay Road in Boiling Springs for the development of a new subdivision with the help and guidance of Langston-Black’s Rick Hammett. This property became Bexley Park, a 116 home community. Scott says that “Rick was instrumental to them in getting this great property under contract”. “Not only did he help in that crucial front-end work, but he stayed actively involved and gave us a lot of assistance in our effort to market and develop the community”. “Rick is a pro and is one of the hardest working realtors I have ever worked with in my 40 years of real estate development”. Since their first project, Deep River South Development, LLC now has two other deals that Rick was also instrumental in helping make happen. One being the 171-lot community of Peachtree Park in Duncan, off of Shoals Road and Colts Neck, a 130-lot community in Greer that is in the final engineering approval stage.
All of the homes in Bexley Park are being built by Essex Homes. This was one of their earliest communities in the Greenville/Spartanburg market and it fits their profile to a T. They are working together to make it really stand out; having outstanding curb appeal is the attention to detail that is important as they want to give the neighborhood and its future residents a special place that they will be proud to call home.
